Intergovernmental Energy Board (IEB)
A joint body of the National Government and the Bangsamoro Government that coordinates and resolves energy matters between the two governments, operating under the Intergovernmental Relations Body (IGRB) framework of the Bangsamoro Organic Law [PEP 2023-2050 Vol. I, p.42, 2023].

Mandate
The IEB resolves all matters specified in Section 36, Article XIII of BOL and energy issues referred by the IGRB [RA 11054, Art. VI §7, 2018-07-26]. It assists the Bangsamoro Government in building regulatory capacity over the energy sector [PEP 2023-2050 Vol. I, p.42, 2023]. Section 36, Article XIII covers: power generation and distribution utilities exclusively in BARMM, Ministry of Energy creation, Agus Hydropower Complex preferential rights, and grid access under EPIRA.
